Politics and Administration

With its central location in Switzerland's capital city, the University of Bern is predestined for research into politics, law, business and economics.

Activities in research and teaching go beyond politics, economy and society on a national and regional scale, reaching into international issues.

Research of international significance is taking place too, such as in international trade regulation and marketing.

The University also offers a wide variety of English programs in continuing or executive education for interested parties.

These include the Master in International Law and Economics from the World Trade Institute and the Bern-Rochester Executive MBA, a joint programme with the University of Rochester, United States.
